The Instructor
Experience You Can Trust in the Classroom
Sharon Rollins | Founder & Instructor A Marine Corps cyber officer with experience leading and enabling offensive and defensive cyber operations, including Hunt Forward Operations, and strengthening cybersecurity across complex environments. Her background includes leadership in communications and joint cyber operations, as well as collaboration with interagency, international, industry, and academic partners. She holds graduate education in cybersecurity and cybersecurity education and is the author of the children’s cyber book Partners Are Friends. She founded CyberYouth to bring real-world cybersecurity experience into the classroom in a way that is engaging, accessible, and age-appropriate.

Real-World Experience in the Room
Students learn cybersecurity concepts from real-world operational experience, making instruction relevant, credible, and engaging.
Age-Appropriate by Design
Every session is adapted to the developmental stage of the students in the room. Elementary, middle, and high school students receive instruction that meets them where they are — not a one-size-fits-all curriculum.
Hands-On, Not Passive
CyberYouth sessions are built around participation. Students engage with activities, demonstrations, and discussions — not lectures.
Standards-Aligned
Instruction aligns with ISTE Standards for Students and CSTA Computer Science Standards, supporting districts in meeting curriculum requirements and demonstrating accountability for technology learning outcomes.
